Menard's is WRONG

We stopped by our local Menard's the other day and there was a gentleman at the door who told us we could not enter the store without a mask.  He then mentioned that masks were available for "purchase" just inside at the service counter.

This is wrong on so many levels I don't know where to start.

First, anyone who knows me has already heard my thoughts on the whole social distancing/mask wearing situation.  The purpose of social distancing is to keep you from sharing whatever you have with others.  If you stay away from people you are not sharing.  Therefore, a mask is not needed.  It has already been stated by many medical people that all a mask does is prevents you from "spraying" your juices into the air.  Wearing a mask does NOT protect you from acquiring said virus.

Second, we have spent thousands of dollars at this business over the years but will no longer do so even though they are a Wisconsin based company.

Third, they obviously do not care about the health of their customers, only their bottom line.  This is the real kicker.  If they cared about the health of people entering the store to the point they want everyone to wear a mask (which is useless anyway) they would offer said masks to customers entering the store if they don't already have one, free of charge.  Instead, they are taking this "opportunity" to take more money out the pockets of people who may not have a lot of that around right now.

Menards', stop trying to fool people into thinking you care about them.  All you really care about is dollar signs.
